How Pick handles your photos

Pick doesn’t store your photos. When you submit a photo, it goes to Anthropic — our AI provider — to get the verdict. Then it’s gone. There’s no way to connect that photo to you. Not by us. Not by anyone. Anthropic’s data policy.

Before your photo leaves your phone

It gets re-encoded. That strips everything attached to it — GPS coordinates, the device it was taken on, timestamp, and camera settings.

What reaches Anthropic is pixel data. Not your phone. Not your face. Not you.

If it’s personal

If you send something personal — and people do, because creators make all kinds of content — same process. Pixels in, verdict back, gone. No face recognition. No storage. Pick never knows who sent it. Neither does Anthropic.

What Pick remembers

Pick remembers you the same way your phone remembers your WiFi password. Not the magic cloud version of your phone — the hard device in your hand. That’s where your name, your history, your picks live. On the glass and aluminum thing in your pocket. Not with us. We can’t see it. We can’t sell it. We can’t lose it in a breach because we never had it.

Children’s privacy

Pick is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. The app is intended for users 13 and older.
